The first step (and most important!) is simple: fill out our contact form and schedule a call. This is where we learn about your story, your love, and your vision for the day. We will ask questions about your preferred locations, any activities you’d like to do (snowshoe, hike, swim in a high alpine lake!), and what kind of experience you want to create. It’s all about understanding you, not just your wedding.

Step 2: Discuss Your Plan and Vision

Once we get to know each other, we will talk through your overall plan. Do you want a sunrise hike to your ceremony spot? Maybe you want to exchange vows on top of a peak in the San Jauns? Or maybe hike up a sand dune at sunset and frolic down together? Together, we will create a plan that balances adventure, intimacy, and photography, so you can fully enjoy the day without feeling rushed.

Step 3: Choose Your Location

Colorado is chock-full of epic landscapes, and choosing the right one is probably the most important task. Since we are both locals, we have quite a few spots up our sleeves, and we would love for you to pick our brains about them! Based on your vision, we help you pick a location that fits your style, level of adventure, and desired level of privacy. From the San Juan Mountains near Durango to remote Southwest trails, the right location sets the tone for your entire elopement.

Step 4: Finalize the Details

Once your location is set, we dive into the nitty-gritty. For example, we recently helped a couple plan their Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad elopement. We found a better pickup and dropoff location based on the requested timeline, found the perfect ceremony spot, and then took them to the top of Molas Pass to celebrate the occasion. By planning with intention, your day will feel seamless, natural, and stress-free.

Step 5: Your Adventure Elopement Day

TODAY IS YOUR DAY! After the planning, we go out and do the damn thing. And we have a really great time doing it. Your day will be easy, adventurous, and a story you can tell for the rest of your life. :)
